Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, a garage with a washing machine and games room activities and parking for two cars. Within 1.2 miles you will find a shop, and within 0.5miles, a pub. Please note two well-behaved dogs are welcome and that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Brackenlea is an idyllic base to explore the picturesque surroundings of Cumbria. Note: There are steps up to the property. Check-in is from 4pm, check-out by 10am.

The historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are only a short drive away, as is Brockhole, which provides high wire tree top experiences. For those with greater energy, marine centres near the lake offer a range of watersports.
