Numerous attractions, including the Seaquarium, can be found in Rhyl's central area. The Botanical Gardens and the Crown Green Bowling Centre are also available to visitors. Water sports like sailing and kayaking can be enjoyed in the harbour, and white water rafting, rock climbing, and caving can be found just down the coast in Prestatyn, a four-mile drive away (or a three-mile walk) if you'd rather leave the car at home. Snowdonia National Park, Victorian Llandudno, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Rhuddlan and Denbigh Castles, and Historic Chester with its Wonderful Shops and Architecture are all within easy driving distance.
