The living areas in this property consist of a kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a living/dining room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a single, along with a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is a rear multi-level garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, and a private driveway for two cars. EV charger at extra cost. Private driveway for 2 cars. EV charger available, payment is via an app, current cost as at 25th June 2024 is 50p per KW, full details on site. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.3 miles, and Rover Tavy in 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, and a stairgate is available. Vigo Cottage is a charming dwelling, perfect for exploring Devon. Note: Two baskets of wood supplied for woodburner, additional baskets can be purchased and money placed in honesty jar. Note: The staircase is very steep; please take care. Please note: Wales and West Utilities are replacing the gas pipes in our area from 1 July for eight weeks. This will mean the road that runs along the cottage will be affected. The garden is about 12 – 15ft above the road so hopefully the disruption is reduced. There will also be some road closures, but these will change as the work progresses and we will keep you fully informed of these. Wales and West Utilities have assured us residents' vehicle access is not affected. Due to the inconvenience, we are offering a discount of 25% on any bookings taken during this period
Tavistock is a charming market town on the River Tavy that has won numerous awards and is located on the south-western slopes of Dartmoor. In addition to a recreational pool, Tavistock boasts an indoor pannier market, a wide variety of independent stores, a great selection of bars, bistros, and restaurants, a theatre, and a movie theatre. For those who prefer the ease of having a fascinating town right outside their door, this is the ideal vacation spot in the country. Dartmoor offers fantastic hiking opportunities, National Cycle Network route 27 offers cycling, renowned game fishing, beautiful gardens, and several National Trust sites are close by.
