Outside there is a courtyard with furniture, a rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, barbecue, shared access to lawn for exercising dogs and hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find both a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Hope House Stables is a charming base, well-positioned to explore Devon. Note: The owner’s property is located next door. Note: The owners may occasionally need to access the courtyard to use the outdoor tap. Note: No stag or hen parties or similar. Note: This property will only accept Monday or Friday check ins between May and September
Witheridge is a delightful small village in the lovely Devon countryside with many little old cottages, a bar, a convenience store, a newsagent, and even a travelling pizza van that comes to the village every Wednesday to offer wood-fired pizzas or a fish and chip van that visits every Friday. Just a short drive away is the lovely, thatched village of Kings Nympton, which was selected as Devon's Village of the Year in 1999 by the Campaign for the Preservation of Rural England. The award-winning The Grove Inn, which serves superb home-cooked cuisine and a fantastic selection of ale and cider all year long, is located in the quintessential English village.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
