The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite basin and WC and a twin serviced by a shower room. Outside there is off-road parking available and a large field for dogs to roam in. Within 5 miles there is a shop and 1 mile a pub. One well-behaved dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Launceston, on the boundary between Devon and Cornwall, is home to some beautiful Georgian structures in its town square and the crumbling remains of a Norman castle perched on the hill above. The Willow Tree Cafe and Woodland Walk are dog-friendly attractions, while the steam train from Launceston travels through the scenic Kensey Valley on a 5-mile round trip. From Launceston, you can easily reach the beautiful Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, as well as the northern beach towns of Bude and Padstow and the southern city of Plymouth. An ideal location from which to explore Cornwall and Devon.
