The living areas in this cottage consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining area for four and a sitting are with electric fire and TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin serviced by a shower room. Outside there is plenty of off-road parking, a front patio with furniture and a private, rear yard. Within 1.6 miles there is a shop and pub and in 2.6 miles a beach. Travel cot is available on request. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Dovecote is a wonderful dwelling for a family holiday in Kent. Note: This property does not have WiFi. Note: There is a pond on the grounds of this property, please take care and supervise children at all times.

The White Cliffs of Dover and the South Foreland Heritage Coast of Kent are just a short drive away. St Margaret's at Cliffe is also home to St Margarate's Bay, a neighbouring village that offers a variety of charming local amenities, including the Dover Patrol Memorial, the Pines Garden Tea Room and Museum, and the striking Foreland Lighthouse. A beautiful shingle beach with rock-pooling opportunities and a pub serving food overlooking it as well as the house previously occupied by Noel Coward and Ian Fleming can be found at the foot of the cliffs. This is the starting point for English Channel swimmers. Dover, with its world-famous castle, seafront promenade, pier, and marina, is only four miles away. Walkers and cyclists can easily access the Kent Downs AONB, and the nearby towns of Folkestone, Ramsgate, and Margate are just a few examples of the charming coastal towns that can be found nearby. If you're looking for something different, consider visiting Canterbury, England's stunning cathedral city.
