The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living area with a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dining seating for four, and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, both with Smart TV, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, as well as off-road parking for three cars. Within 1 mile, you will find a shop, and within 0.2 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Note: Pets covered under the bond if more cleaning it will be taken - please take covers for sofas. Note: Please bring own cot bedding and beach towels. Whisk your loved ones away to Little Barn.
The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful, unspoilt countryside, visit The National Hunt Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall with its spectacular gardens, all of which are close by. The quiet seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands, with its Edwardian buildings and mountain backdrop, is a mere 2 miles away, whilst Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is within a thirty minute drive.
