WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: There is a flowing, unfenced river running through the grounds of this property, please supervise pets and children at all times. Note: There are fishing rights for the river so guests may fish or kayak. Please note the water meadow can on occasion rise to create a small lake at the bottom of the garden, attracting some wonderful wildlife. Please Note: minimum 3 night restriction
Meonstoke, a peaceful settlement in the South Downs' Middle Chalk, is located within the picturesque Meon Valley. The settlement is well-known for its Saxon and Roman ties. The Bucks Head tavern and a post office with a convenience store still exist today. The post office, a service station, and two pubs may be found in the nearby village of Droxford. The community is ideally located for walkers and other outdoor enthusiasts because it is close to both the ocean and lovely South Downs National Park.
