The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and TV, a dining area with breakfast bar for four guests and a sitting area, as well as a living/dining room with seating for four guests, a Smart TV, sofa bed and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite shower room, a ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link), a king-size with en-suite bathroom and a double with TV and en-suite shower room, along with a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, decking and furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop and a pub and within 0.6 miles a lake and please note that two well-behaved pets welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are also provided. For a memorable escape to the Lake District, choose Holme Fell. Locally, Grizedale Forest's wonderful wooded trails, Coniston Old Man, and Wetherlam offer excellent hiking, mountain biking, and climbing opportunities. For those who appreciate water activities, the calm lake is perfect for canoeing and dinghy sailing, while those who are less energetic can take a leisurely ride aboard the lovely steam boat "Gondola" or visit Brantwood, the old residence of John Ruskin. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is located in the award-winning community of Hawkshead, which is also close to Tarn Hows, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the nation, and Esthwaite Water, a popular fishing place. An excellent holiday destination any time of year.
