There are also many places to dine and drink there. The local leisure centre has a swimming pool, and the riverfront park with a children's play area is not to be missed. Pateley Bridge is well recognised for its award-winning floral displays. The town's Craft Workshops and the award-winning Nidderdale Museum, which features an engaging array of exhibits illuminating all facets of former Dales life, are both worthwhile stops. The Nidd Valley provides fantastic chances for biking, strolling, and birdwatching both upstream and downstream.
