This lodge has three bedrooms including a king-size with en-suite shower room, and two twins, along with a bathroom and an open-living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Appliances include an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside, there is parking and decking with furniture and a hot tub. Two well-behaved pets are welcome and fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop and pub within 2.8 miles. Please note that infants are included in the total party number and cots and highchairs can be hired. Lodge 1 is a superb choice for a holiday amongst nature.
The National Trust-owned ruins of Corfe Castle dominate this Dorset settlement and civil parish. The settlement overlooks the Purbeck Hills between Wareham and Swanage and is close to the seaside and countryside. The Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve and Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve are nearby, while the Jurassic Coast is nearby. For a fun family day out, the Purbeck Big Apple Maize Maze is nearby, and Swanage, with its Blue Flag and Seaside Award-winning beach, offers coasteering, abseiling, climbing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and scuba diving.
