The charming port of Penryn, one of the oldest market towns in Cornwall, has a rich history of harbour architecture and magnificent granite houses that sharply slope along the cobbled lanes down to the sea. The town offers a good selection of eateries, cafes, and bars, as well as a museum with free admission and the serene Enys Gardens on the town's outskirts, which offer a variety of grounds and a pleasant retreat. The renowned seaport of Falmouth is located just one mile from the Penryn River further downstream. It offers a variety of entertainment options, including harbour-side bars and restaurants with breathtaking views, gorgeous Blue Flag beaches, and a bustling town centre. For a sense of Cornwall's seafaring past, check out the National Maritime Museum or the magnificent Tudor castle Pendennis Castle, which is beautifully situated with a view of the ocean. The various attractions, delights, and breathtaking coastline of Cornwall are easily accessible from Penryn, making it the ideal home base from which to explore it all.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
