The bedrooms consist of a family room with king-size and single and a family room with double and single and a ground-floor double, all serviced by a shower room and bathroom. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, a front terrace garden with patio, furniture and barbecue and a rear terrace garden. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and pub. Wool, a small Dorset community, has its own railroad station and is served by the Jurassic Coast bus (X54), which connects Poole and Weymouth. The River Frome flows through the community and is well-known for being home to the Woolbridge Manor, a 17th-century estate where Tess of the D’Urbervilles spent her honeymoon in Thomas Hardy's novel. About 12 miles outside of Dorchester, Thomas Hardy's Cottage makes for an intriguing day trip from Wool. The Tank Museum, Clouds Hill, the setting for Lawrence of Arabia, and the animal sanctuary Monkey World lie just outside Wool, one of Purbeck's most popular tourist destinations. You may visit West Lulworth, home to the magnificent geological wonders of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, after a quick 5-mile journey from Lulworth.
