A duplex apartment set over the first and second floor resting above the wonderful Regatta restaurant in Aldeburgh, Regatta Lookout is a fantastic base for your Suffolk adventure. With high ceilings and an airy atmosphere, the deluxe sitting room is the perfect spot for a coffee as you plan the day ahead of you, featuring an electric fire stove, pale lime walls and a selection of seating for you to recline in and there is also the option of a smaller snug with a welcoming woodburning stove to warm your feet in the cooler months. The kitchen/diner is magnificent, open plan and with seas of natural light, any budding chef will be drawn to the stylish and amply fitted kitchen area, and meals can be enjoyed on the dining table or outside in the fantastic courtyard, the perfect spot for breakfast in the sunshine. Regatta Lookout has four second-floor bedrooms sleeping a total of eight guests, including three super-king-size with ensuites and a king-size with an en-suite, each with their own character and quirky décor. Aldeburgh is a fantastic coastal location with a bustling town centre just waiting to be explored. There are many eateries, including the restaurant set beneath the apartment, and you can try out a variety of cuisine and enjoy a coffee and cake in the sunshine, as well as checking out what the local independent shops have to offer. A museum introduces you to the history of the local area, whilst the wildlife and scenery can be enjoyed at the haven Nature Reserve and Snape path. Last but certainly not least, Aldeburgh has a fantastic local beach, perfect for walking, wild swimming, picnics and watersports! The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home.
