Newborough, or Niwbwrch as it is spelled in Welsh, is a small village in the southwestern part of Anglesey. Llanddwyn Bay, widely considered to be one of the best beaches in all of Britain, is conveniently located not far away. Toads, lizards, and oyster catchers among other amphibians and reptiles call the Newborough Warren sand dune system, located behind the beach and designated as a National Nature Reserve, home. Within a short drive, you can reach the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, and the Anglesey Sea Salt, all of which are great options for a family outing. The Anglesey Racetrack is located in nearby Aberffraw, promising a thrilling day out.
