The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size with an open en-suite, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, and TV, a double with en-suite, a further double, and a single, along with a bathroom. Outside there is a wrap-around, sloped garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, and a gated driveway with ample parking. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. Cot and highchair available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles, a pub in 0.6 miles, and River Dwyryd in 1.2 miles. Bryn Berthen is an opulent base, perfect for exploring Gwynedd. Note: There are slops and drops in the garden; please supervise children at all times. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am.

The expansive community of Penrhyndeudraeth is home to several stores, eateries, a post office, and a train station that connects to the Ffestiniog Railway. The renowned, distinctive Italianate village of Portmeirion, which served as the setting for the television series The Prisoner, is only two miles away. It is encircled by sand beaches and alluring woodlands. A little farther on lies the harbour town of Porthmadog, from which you can take the Ffestiniog Railway to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, also known as "the town that roofed the world." The charming village of Beddgelert, to the north, is situated in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, where you can spend hours taking in the breath-taking scenery on foot or by bicycle. It is built around the Afon Glaslyn River and offers craft stores, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, and an enchanting riverside walk.
