Armstrong Cottages No22 is an attractive, spacious cottage located on the very popular Armstrong Cottages estate originally built by Lord Armstrong for the workmen restoring Bamburgh Castle. The property offers a home from home with space for all the family to enjoy the cosy and comfortable accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Only a short walk to the village centre where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants and the famous Bamburgh Castle. The cottage is only a stones throw from the dunes where you can walk straight onto the beach. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Living room with Smart TV and feature fireplace. Dining room with dining table and chairs. Conservatory with easy seating and coffee table. Kitchen with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, bread maker, fridge, freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom 1 with double bed. Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC, heated towel rail and basin. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 2 with king size bed and en suite shower room with WC and basin. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4 with bunk beds. Family shower room with WC and basin. OTHER FACILITIES Externally there is parking for 2 cars to the front with a small lawn area and to the rear the is an enclosed garden with furniture. All power, linen and towels included in the rent. Oil fired central heating.

The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
