The living areas in this property consist of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, a dining room, and a sitting room with TV, DVD player, a selection of books, and an open fire. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV, and a twin, along with a shower room. Outside there is a rear multi-level garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, and residential parking on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. Highchair, travel cot and stairgate available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 2.6 miles, a pub in 0.1 miles, and the beach in 1 mile. Badgers Cottage is a charming base, perfect for exploring the Dorset coastline. Note: There are steps in the garden. Note: The staircase is steep. Note: limited headroom in the twin bedroom. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: Guests must bring their own bedding for the travel cot. Note: This property has a quirky and steep stair case. Note: There are low ceilings and beams within the property and extra care to be taken especially with head room. Note: due to Quirky nature of this property it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

In Chickerell, two of the most well-liked attractions are Bennetts Water Gardens and Chesil Beach. There are many other fantastic activities nearby. Weymouth's award-winning beach, with its golden beaches and shallow water, is only 2.9 miles from Chickerell. Along with a bustling town centre with all the essential local and high street services, there is also a lively harbour with eateries, cafés, and bars. Six miles away, on the Isle of Portland, you may enjoy breath-taking views of the Jurassic coast and the well-known Portland Bill lighthouse.
