The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and a living/dining room with dining seating and a Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size, a ground-floor double, two doubles with en-suite shower room. Hot tub ( seats approximately 5 people) Outside, there is offroad parking for 3 vehicles to the rear. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.3 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. The beautiful lake of Derwentwater, at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley, is only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, and it is surrounded by excellent parks, miniature golf courses, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and great mountain biking opportunities. The picturesque Newlands Valley can be found close by between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a trip if you're in the area. There's a wide variety of trails to choose from, from easy strolls through the countryside to strenuous climbs of Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells. Take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater or check out Castlerigg Stone Circle, Jennings Brewery, and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake. This is a fantastic Lake District destination year-round thanks to its many family-friendly attractions, beautiful parks, and proximity to the Lake District Wildlife Park.
