Alnwick, home to the largest cascading water feature in Europe as well as an immense tree house, a rose garden, and an elegant walled garden, is only 10 miles away from the village, and the town itself contains a post office, coffee shop, tavern, and restaurant. The castle also gained notoriety as Hogwarts in the "Harry Potter" movie. The perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Heritage Coast of Northumberland.
