The bedrooms consist of a mezzanine double with Smart TV and a mezzanine twin serviced by a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, furniture and hot tub and off-road parking for two cars. Within 4.6 miles there is a shop and 1.9 miles a pub. Sorry, no smoking. The settlement of Chirbury can be found in the Vale of Montgomery in west Shropshire, England, not far from the Welsh and English borders. There's a post office/general store in the village hall. There's also a huge public house named The Herbert Arms. The city of Montgomery is just a short drive away, and it's a favourite destination for holidaymakers. The town offers a wide choice of great restaurants and pubs, including the Michelin-starred The Checkers, which is sure to be a highlight of your trip. The old market town of Bishop's Castle is just a few miles to the south, and it makes for a great day trip or evening out thanks to its many great pubs, live music venues, and year-round events. A vacation spot with lots of charm.
A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
