The living areas in this three-storey home consist of a kitchen with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, fridge, washer/dryer, and two dishwashers, a dining room, a sitting room with Smart TV, DVD player, CD player, an iPod docking station, a selection of books and games, and a conservatory with woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two king-size with en-suites, and a super-king-size (zip/link) and a twin on the second floor, serviced by a bathroom, a ground-floor shower room, and a second-floor cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed front patio with furniture, an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture, and permit parking for one car. This is a pet-free and smoke-free home. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, and a highchair and travel cot are available. Rose House is a delightful base for a Northumberland break. Note: Please request in advance if you wish for the super-king-size to be made up as a twin.
Alnmouth, a picturesque resort well-liked by golfers and those seeking a quiet holiday, is located only 4 miles east of Alnwick. The hamlet, which serves as Alnwick's port today, is located on a small peninsula jutting out into the North Sea and River Aln. Today, the region has reverted to its natural state and offers a good selection of stores, bars, and eateries in addition to a fantastic "links" golf course, some fantastic rivers for fishing, and miles and miles of magnificent beaches and sand dunes to explore with breath-taking views of the North Sea. With its renowned historic castle, Poison Garden, which offers guided walks through hazardous plants, and a range of pubs and restaurants, Alnwick is only a short drive away.
