The open-plan living space includes a kitchen housing an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a sitting area with woodburning stove and there is also a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms include two king-size rooms, both with Smart TVs and one with en-suite shower and a twin with Smart TV and en-suite shower, plus there is a bathroom and cloakroom. To the outside is a lawned garden and decked area with furniture, off-road parking for one car, and an EV charging point. This property will accept two well-behaved dogs, but not smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Within 0.6 miles or less there is a shop and pub. Timley Knott is a wonderful base for accessing the Lakelands. Note: The ground-floor bedroom is accessed externally and is therefore unlikely to be suitable for younger children.
Hawkshead, Ambleside, Windermere, and Grasmere are all within a short drive of Coniston, a charming community that sits at the head of Coniston Water and is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Lake District National Park. Locally, Grizedale Forest's wonderful wooded trails, Coniston Old Man, and Wetherlam offer excellent hiking, mountain biking, and climbing opportunities. For those who appreciate water activities, the calm lake is perfect for canoeing and dinghy sailing, while those who are less energetic can take a leisurely ride aboard the lovely steam boat "Gondola" or visit Brantwood, the old residence of John Ruskin. The Beatrix Potter Gallery is located in the award-winning community of Hawkshead, which is also close to Tarn Hows, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the nation, and Esthwaite Water, a popular fishing place. A top-notch vacation destination any time of year.
