The living areas in this single-storey property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a dining area with seating for four guests, a sitting area with Smart TV and an additional sitting room with TV and solid-fuel fire. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite shower room and a twin, with access to a Jack-and-Jill shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, furniture and fire pit, a patio area with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Within 5.6 miles you will find a shop, within 2.5 miles, a pub and within 0.1 miles, Lough Derg and please note that one small, well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are also provided. Shannon Vale is a fabulous property for a family escape to Country Galway. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am.

Just an hour's drive from Galway City, Woodford provides a peaceful base from which to discover the beautiful west of Ireland. Great fishing can be sought on the lovely Lough Derg, less than a mile from the village, plus wonderful walks lead in every direction. Take a day trip to the Slieve Aughty Mountains, enjoy an afternoon of golf at one of the two nearby courses or discover the heritage of this beautiful area at the imposing Portumna Castle and Gardens. A holiday here isn’t complete without a trip to Galway. Just an hour's drive away, the city is a vibrant, exciting place boasting comedy clubs, theatres and night clubs for your evening’s entertainment. It also is home to festivals, museums and countless cafes, shops and restaurants, all set beside a beautiful, rugged coastline.
