The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio, and roadside parking is available. Within 0.1 miles you will find both a shop and a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Rose Cottage is a lovely base for a family getaway in Yorkshire. For those bringing pets, please supply its own bedding, and please take care to avoid dog fouling on the artificial grass.
Inside the North York Moors National Park, in the stunning Esk Valley, is where the charming village of Castleton is located. This vibrant community, which is surrounded by beautiful landscape, has excellent services like two pubs that both serve delicious meals, a convenience shop, deli, and tea rooms. There is a train station that connects with the steam line to the charming market town of Pickering and serves the Esk Valley and Whitby. The nearby Botton community of the Camphill Village Trust has shops providing locally produced food, crafts, and literature in addition to craft programmes. Within easy driving distance and well worth a visit are the coastal towns and villages of Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood's Bay, and Sandsend with its magnificent beach. The historic city of York is just over an hour away.
