The town of Gosport, which was once a thriving naval town and is now mostly a maritime hub, is located on a peninsula that juts out into The Solent opposite Portsmouth. Gosport, a wonderful vacation spot, provides guests with a wealth of attractions and 17 miles of waterfront, as well as gorgeous beaches and coastal landscapes. The town currently offers excellent facilities for watersports enthusiasts of all kinds, as well as engaging museums and intriguing exhibitions tracing its nautical history. The beautiful HMS Victory is housed at Portsmouth's historic dockyard, which is accessible through a short ferry voyage.
