The living areas in the property consist of sitting area, with an open-plan kitchen/diner with a gas oven, four ring gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, a dining room area with seating for six guests, a sitting room with a Smart TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of one king bedroom, one double bedroom, and a twin bedroom, along with a bathroom. There is parking for two-three cars. Shop 1.8 miles, pub 2.1 miles. Note: The heating and hot water are heated by the wood-burning stove, there is an immersion for hot water in summer, and an electric shower. Note: The property has feather bedding. Note: The stairs are steep, and there are some low doorframes. Note; There is an external plug for EV charging. Note: The garden is not full enclosed for dogs, in additional please be aware that there are farm animals grazing in the surrounding fields.
Saxmundham is a small market town located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The town is well serviced with independent shops, local museum, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Situated so close to the coast, Saxmundham is a great base for a seaside holiday; within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, you could enjoy a different coastal location each day. Also close by is the inland market town Framlingham with beautiful historic architecture, a castle and an array of independent shops. South of the town there is the well known tourist destination of Sutton Hoo, an ancient Royal Anglo-Saxon burial site. With Ipswich an easy drive south, and Norwich an easy drive north, there’s so much to see and do in and around Saxmundham.
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
