To the outside is off-road parking for two cars and a courtyard garden and an enclosed lawned garden. This property will accept one pet however smoking is not permitted. Between the Cheviot Mountains and the shore, in the centre of rural Northumberland, is the charming village of Longhorsley, which offers easy access to several fantastic hiking and biking trails. The community has a hair salon, a store, and a local tavern that serves tasty meals. Just 9 miles to the west, nestled between the Lordenshaw and Simonside Hills with the River Coquet trickling through the middle, is the thriving village of Rothbury. Brinkburn Priory, a restored Augustinian Priory in a very beautiful setting next to the River Coquet, is a pleasant, short trip away. The National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens are on the outskirts of Rothbury, and just 20 minutes' drive to the east is the Heritage Coast, which is home to a bevy of massive, historic castles and miles of golden sand beaches. Just 14 miles to the north, in the mediaeval town of Alnwick, you can spend a wonderful day with the whole family exploring the spectacular castle and garden. This location is ideal for exploring Northumberland or taking a rest because it is close to the breathtaking National Park.
