The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and slimline dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area with TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV and a child’s bunk, along with a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear lawn with furniture, along with off-road parking for one car. Within 0.8 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.7 miles, a pub and a river, please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Canadian Cabin No 39 is a wonderful base from which to explore all that the Lake District has to offer. Note: The property is next to a river, please ensure children and pets are supervised. Note: There is a flight of stairs to the property, so may be unsuitable for those with mobility issues, please take care. Fishing is available onsite. Wild water swimming is available onsite

The tourist hub of the northern Lake District is the well-known town of Keswick, which has a lot to offer travellers at any time of year. The town offers a wide variety of stores and eateries to suit every taste, as well as miniature golf, wonderful parks, the renowned Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and fantastic mountain biking opportunities. Derwentwater, a beautiful lake at the head of the breathtaking Borrowdale Valley, is only a short stroll from the town centre. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit. Everything from a leisurely stroll through the countryside to a strenuous walk up Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells is available. Visit the Jennings Brewery, Mirehouse, a magnificent home and gardens on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, or go on a wonderful boat tour of Derwentwater. Any time of year, this is a great Lakeland destination thanks to the abundance of family-friendly attractions, beautiful parks, and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park.
