The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge with ice box, along with a king-size bedroom with a TV and sofa, and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is a private balcony with furniture, a shared garden with lawn, patio, furniture, sun loungers, a shared unheated swimming pool 4ft 6" depth (33ft x 15ft) and off-road parking for one car. The swimming pool has seasonal opening times: open from mid-May until the first week of October. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price (please bring along your own pool towels). You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. The small, historic village of Hemyock is situated in the beautiful Culm Valley, quietly nestling amidst the stunning Blackdown Hills. The village itself features a small Norman Castle situated adjacent to the parish church, a welcoming pub serving fine food and two shops with a small post office. Horse riding and fishing facilities are on hand, whilst the pretty town of Wellington, with its award winning park, lies just 5 miles away offering a wide variety of pubs, craft and gift shops and a monthly Farmer’s Market attracting visitors from all around. Visit the market town of Honiton, with its quaint lace and pottery stores or nearby Taunton, with its beautiful countryside, colourful weekly market and wide choice of restaurants. With Dartmoor, Exmoor and the stunning north and south Devon coastline within easy reach, this wonderful holiday location has something for everyone.
