Garstang 2.3 miles. The Hamilton is a multi million pound development and is a grade 2 listed building which dates back to the 1600s. The development now consists of 6 high end luxury apartments in the main residence and three high end barn conversions to the courtyard. The majority of the original features have been kept and restored and which was a high importance to the British Heritage Report. This ground-floor apartment has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and Smart TV, and a communal utility with washing machine. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed patio with furniture and hot tub, a communal garden with lawned area, patio and furniture, and ample off-road parking. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 0.6 miles and a pub in 0.5 miles. Garstang is a small town within the Wyre Borough of Lancashire, famous for declaring itself the world's first Fairtrade town. Known locally for its tasty home-grown produce, this small town offers a warm welcome and a wealth of specialist and individual shops where you can pick up a number of treats; don't miss the local cheesemongers for a wedge of fine Lancashire cheese! The street market is held every Thursday, another exciting shopping treat. Running right through the centre of the town is the peaceful Lancaster Canal, where you can watch the passing canal boats cruise by and enjoy the abundance of wildlife it supports.
