On an inlet of Milford Haven, the village of Carew can be found resting on the Carew River, just over four miles from Pembrokeshire. At the centre of the quaint hamlet stands a 13th-century castle, adding traditional charm and historical wonder to the area, with history dating back to the Bronze Age. The village is also home to the only intact Tidal Mill in Wales, one of its kind, here you can find a scenic circular walk, picnic area and other historic delights to uncover. At the centre you can find an inn, perfect for a rewarding beverage after exploring your surroundings, or for a wider array of amenities, the nearby harbour town of Tenby boasts an abundance of attractions. Best known for its 13th-century tower walls and sandy shoreline, here you can find a picturesque beach, various tourist attractions and plenty of fun. In reach of both the coast and the countryside, Carew makes a wondrous base for your Welsh retreat.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
