This single-storey lodge has a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV and en-suite, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with decking, furniture and a hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. This village and civil parish nestles in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire with close proximity to Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale AONB. Home to Catterick Racecourse, one of the busiest in North Yorkshire; racing at Catterick Bridge began as early as the mid-17th Century, and offers a charming blend of old and new in its Grandstand framework, as well as a fun and relaxing day out for everyone, whatever the occasion. The area boasts a lovely village green with Brough Beck trickling through to meet the River Swale, an idyllic place to enjoy an afternoon stroll, with parks, safe paddling areas and small waterfalls while local businesses, the sports ground and public houses provide convenience to visitors from far and wide.
