This single-storey lodge has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric fire, a double bedroom, a twin, and a shower room. Appliances consist of an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dryer/washing machine, and for entertainment, a Smart TV. Outside there is a wrap-around, decked veranda with furniture and hot tub, a patio area with furniture, and a shared driveway.Two well-behaved dog welcome, and extra are charged at a £30 supplement per dog, per stay, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.2 miles. Escape to rural Cumbria by booking The Hermitage. Brougham Castle, Brougham Hall (The Windsor of the North), Lowther Castle and Gardens, Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the historic city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the stunning scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
