Ty Rhos has a kitchen/diner, a sitting room, a king-size bedroom, a bunk room with easy chair, and a shower room. Appliances consist of an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, and a Smart TV for entertainment. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard with artificial lawn, and roadside parking available. This is a pet-friendly home, but please, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair, travel cot and stairgate. You'll find a shop in 0.1 miles, a pub in 0.2 miles, Afon Teifi in 0.4 miles, and the beach in 1.9 miles. Enjoy the best of Ceredigion at Ty Rhos. Note: Guests are requested to bring their own linen for the travel cot. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: Easy chair available for an additional child.
The bustling market town of Cardigan in Ceredigion is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and an impressive ruined castle, which is the home to the Eisteddfod. Cardigan castle has a fascinating history and has undergone substantial investment over the years. It is home to regular events throughout the year, along with a café and restaurant which has been strategically positioned with a view over the castle and River Teifi. Surrounding Cardigan is beautiful countryside, with long, dramatic cliff walks around the Cardiganshire coastline, whilst the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away. You have the opportunity to visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful Blue Flag sandy beaches like the National Trust beach Mwnt, take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals, or horse riding at the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre. For keen cyclists take a trip on the National Cycle Route, Number 82. The nearby Preseli Mountains offer wonderful walking and cycling, with some stunning views and an ancient stone monument. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Cardigan is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
