St Hilda's Cottage is a detached stone cottage on the edge of the owner's farm in the North Yorkshire village of Hinderwell. The cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms, one of which has a super king-size bed. The bedrooms are accessed by a spiral staircase. The bathroom in the property contains a bath with shower over, basin and WC. Downstairs, the living accommodation is spacious and open plan, featuring a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is an enclosed, decked rear patio with private hot tub and furniture. Guests also have shared use of a sauna with two other properties. Off road parking is available for one car. With village amenities on the doorstep, the beach just a mile away and historic Whitby an easy drive, St Hilda's Cottage makes a great base for a romantic break in Yorkshire.
With shops and pubs, and close to the picturesque fishing towns of Staithes and Runswick Bay, Hinderwell is a small but bustling rural village. Just nine miles from the charming harbour town of Whitby, Hinderwell is ideally located for exploring the surrounding countryside, ranging from the dramatic cliffs and smugglers' coves of the coastline to the deep, secluded dales of the North York Moors National Park. This is a wonderful area for walking, cycling and fishing.
