To the outside of the cottage there is ample off road parking and a courtyard garden with furniture and a barbecue. Surrounded by lovely rural scenery, the town offers endless opportunities to explore Ireland. Boasting three Blue Flag beaches, Bertra, Carramore and Old Head, and in close proximity to Sheaffrey and Mweelrea Mountains, there is something to please everybody. Take a ferry from Roonagh Pier out to Clare Island, one of the inhabited islands in Clew Bay, and on a clear day, enjoy views towards Connemara and Achill, or discover the more traditional Féile Chois Cuain, May Bank Holiday music festival. This lovely location offers plenty to see and do for all ages.
