This ‘upside down' cottage sleeps up to ten people and has four bedrooms, which consist of two doubles, one of which has a four-poster bed and both have ensuite shower rooms and two twin bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The cottage also has a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with woodburning stove and, an additional sitting area with double sofa bed. Outside, this cottage has a garden with patio, furniture and BBQ, plus ample off road parking. Meadow Place is a perfect holiday cottage for families and groups of friends who wish to explore the Peak District.
Located on the western fringes of the Peak District in spectacular moorland countryside, the attractive village of Ipstones sits between the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne. With a post office, village shop and pubs serving food, this little settlement is a well-served base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. The impressive scenery is excellent for walking and cycling and offers miles of woodland trails and moorland hikes for all levels of ability. Dovedale and the limestone Churnet Valley are within easy driving distance, as is the Manifold Trail. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Lyme Park are also very close by. For those looking for a more thrill-filled holiday, the Alton Towers Theme Park is within easy reach and makes a great trip out for all the family.
