The Lodge is a single-storey, stone-built detached cottage situated on the outskirts of the village of Bouth, four miles from Newby Bridge in the Lake District National Park. This cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and a patio with a hot tub. The Lodge is a superb romantic retreat with plenty to see and do within easy reach, including famous Windermere.
The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. Lake Windermere is within reach, along with the Aquarium of the Lakes, the picturesque village of Hawkshead and Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
