Penglanowen Fawr is a detached former farmhouse located 1.7 miles from the village of Llangwyryfon in Ceridigion, Wales. It has three bedrooms including two doubles and a single, there is also a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep five people. Also inside there is a kitchen diner, a utility and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is ample off road parking and an enclosed lawn with furniture and a play area. Penglanowen Fawr is a stunning cottage in an idyllic countryside location. Please note: bookings must start or end on a Saturday only.

The village of Llangwyryfon is in the River Wyre valley in Ceredigion, near Aberystwyth. The church in Llangwyryfon is dedicated to St Ursula, there is also a chapel. It is close to Aberystwyth, which offers restaurants, pubs, shops, museums, tea rooms and a cinema. The Welsh coastline is also nearby and has many beaches to visit. The Ystwyth Trail is a 20 mile footpath and cycle route that is alongside a river and a pretty woodland area and links Tregaron and Aberystwyth. It is also worth taking a trip from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge on the Vale of Rheidol stream railway; a lovely way to see the falls.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
