Jervaulx Abbey, with its tearooms and Brymor Ice Cream, is only a short drive away, and the Constable Burton Hall Gardens, with their large parkland and forest trails, are also easily accessible. Thorp Perrow Arboretum is a great place to visit if you're a gardener; it features a falconry show and is located near Middleham, where you can also explore the fantastic Forbidden Corner.
