The Stables is a lovely end-terrace barn conversion situated close to the village of Great Tew near Chipping Norton. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with TV together with family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a private lawned front garden with patio and furniture. The Stables is a delightful cottage from which to explore this beautiful part of the country.
The picture postcard village of Great Tew, often described as one of the prettiest villages in England is full of attractive cottages, most of them thatched, situated in a delightful landscaped setting. The village is now a lively and welcoming community with a well-known pub, The Falkland Arms, serving excellent food and real ale. There is also a village shop and small café.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
