Mayfield Manor is a mid-terrace cottage on the main road leading in to the popular North Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby. The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite), a twin room and a family shower room. On the ground floor are a fitted galley-style kitchen and a spacious sitting room with a gas fire. Outside is roadside parking and a small rear patio with outdoor furniture. Ideal for discovering the North Yorkshire coast and the North York Moors National Park, Mayfield Manor is a lovely family holiday home for a break at any time of the year.
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
