Horton Scar House is a luxurious, detached cottage in the village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms which are a king-size double with an en-suite, a super king-size double (zip/link, can be a double on request) and a single room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room with a sitting area, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a summer room. Outside is off road parking for two cars, bike storage and a gravelled patio with furniture. With fabulous views of Pen-y-Ghent, this is an ideal cottage for a memorable holiday. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
This beautiful Ribblesdale village sits within the National Park and provides home to lots of pretty traditional Dales buildings, a lovely Norman church and two pubs. The surrounding countryside is magnificent, offering the ideal location for fell walking, with the famous Three Peaks Walk, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough offering some of the most challenging walks in the country. The famous Settle-Carlisle Railway passes through the village and passes some of the most beautiful and inspiring upland scenery in the country.
