Lawn Cottage is a detached cottage on the outskirts of the village of Ashleworth near Gloucester. The cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom which is a double room with a TV. There is also a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Lawn Cottage is in a fantastic location with activities to suit everybody within easy reach.
Located in picturesque Gloucestershire countryside, the medieval village of Ashleworth is only six miles from Gloucester's waterfront. There are several ancient buildings in Ashleworth dating back to Roman times, including a National Trust-owned 15th century tithe barn, a 12th-century church, and The Preaching Cross on the village green. It also has a Post Office and well-stocked grocery store for all your self-catering needs. The Severn Way and the Three Choirs Way pass near by, making for many excellent walks right from the settlement.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
