Ruthin has its origins in the 13th Century and was a popular market-town. Evidence of its long and illustrious history can be found in the beams and brickwork in buildings throughout the town. Pendref Chapel is Ruthin's oldest chapel, dating back to around 1827. The town is now home to a number of shops, restaurants and pubs to try. Ample walking opportunity can be enjoyed at Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Snowdonia National Park.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
