There is also a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with an electric stove, and a conservatory. Outside, you will find off-road parking for two cars and a garden with a lawn and gravelled area. 11 Girvan Road is a fantastic retreat for a family holiday to Scotland. Please note: A travel cot and a highchair are provided. Garden not enclosed – vehicle access gate open. Step in level of approx 0.6m between grass and stone chippings. Turnberry is renowned for its magnificent golf courses, bringing in thousands of golfers each year along with the nearby Kintyre. Royal Troon and Prestwick are two of many spectacular courses within the village and surrounding areas. The area is steeped in history with castles, ruins and monuments scattered amongst the glorious landscapes. Sea fishing from Girvan Harbour is also popular among tourists, while the picturesque scenery offers plenty of walking and cycling opportunities too.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
