Coast House is a delightful detached cottage situated in a hamlet, two miles from the village of Laide and within driving distance of the town of Ullapool. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double with seating area, dressing room and en-suite shower, a ground floor double and a twin with seating area, together with a bathroom and ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside there's ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and picnic bench. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
The village of Laide is situated in the region known as Wester Ross and has a shop, Post Office, petrol station, church and the ruins of a medieval chapel. Beautiful Gruinard Bay, with its striking red sandy beaches and a backdrop of spectacular mountains is within reach, and the renowned National Trust Inverewe Gardens full of exotic plants is just eight miles away.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
