The Old Stables is a detached property situated within the village of Exford. It houses four bedrooms, comprising of a ground-floor super king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is also a family shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, in addition to a ground-floor cloakroom with WC and basin. Additional rooms include a kitchen/diner, a sitting room with a woodburning fire and a well-equipped utility. Outside, you will find ample off-road parking and an enclosed rear garden with table and chairs. The Old Stables promises a wonderful retreat.
Exford is situated in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, close to Minehead and Barnstaple. Within this village you will find a village green, tea rooms, a shop, Post Office and two traditional inns serving food. For walks, you will find waymarked paths down the Exe and River Barle valleys, as well as Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor. The coastal towns of Lynmouth, Porlock and Minehead are also a short drive away.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
