Avon Croft Cottage is a superb detached property, in the small village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. There are three bedrooms (a king-size double, a double and a twin), one of which has an en-suite shower room, together with a family bathroom, while downstairs has an additional useful cloakroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a separate dining room. The spacious sitting room has a cosy gas fire. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars and a small enclosed garden. Avon Croft Cottage Croft is the perfect base for an excellent holiday, at any time of the year.
The village of Hawsker is half way between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay on the North Yorkshire coast. This small village has a local pub which serves food and is close to the Cleveland Way. Just a couple of miles to the south is the quaint fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay with its steeply sloping main street and numerous craft shops, whilst to the north is the famous abbey town of Whitby with its glorious harbour, sandy beaches and fantastic fish and chip restaurants.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
